Awful quiet up on the board. One benefit of no rain is that my salt licks for deer are still working. The bigger problem is that I have had no interest in fishing since the third week of July.
So, long-term forecast looks promising and if it holds we may ask for the water to even shut off for a bit. Here is to positive thinking.

MSW Miramichi came up a bit. Was enough to to get some fish moving. Saw fresh fish moving through the river below Blackville yesterday and another group saw the activity continue this AM. We hooked a couple grilse yesterday, one was dark, one could have been fresh but it got off. Saw a number of bright salmon and grilse move through the pool. Let's keep our fingers crossed for more to continue.
